StoryWorthy Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

StoryWorthy ("we", "us") is a browser extension that lets you tag online posts and articles with a story genre, save them, and receive AI-generated creative-writing guidance. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.

Information we collect

We do not collect browsing history, and the extension does not track the pages you visit unless you actively tag one.

How we use your information

How your information is processed

Your data is stored and processed using Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US East (N. Virginia) region:

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers above (AWS) strictly to operate StoryWorthy, and as required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your account data and story content while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@storyworthyapp.com. We will delete your data within a reasonable period after verifying your request.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and signed authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

Children

StoryWorthy is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
